Activity Feed
The Community Activity feed sits at the bottom of your Home page (scroll down to view). It shows recent activity from the libraries you belong to and the people you share them with.
What Shows Up
Section titled “What Shows Up”You’ll see a mix of:
- Reading activity — when members start a book, hit a progress milestone, or finish a book
- Library updates — new books added and new members joining (batched so you’re not flooded with individual entries)
- Reading plans — when someone joins or completes a plan
- Highlights — books an admin features for the library, and books members add to their favorites
You only see activity from libraries you’re a member of and from people who share at least one library with you.
Reacting to Activity
Section titled “Reacting to Activity”Tap the reaction area on any card to add a Like, Love, or Celebrate — tap again to remove it. You can use more than one on the same card.
Removing Your Own Activity
Section titled “Removing Your Own Activity”You can delete any of your own activity from the feed:
- Tap the ⋯ menu on your activity card
- Tap Delete from feed
- Confirm to remove it
To stop sharing your reading activity entirely, go to Settings → Privacy and turn off Profile visibility. This single toggle hides your profile, reading activity, and reading progress from other members. When you turn it off, the app offers to retroactively hide all of your past activity at the same time.
