Adding Reading Notes
Add personal notes and reflections to any book you’re reading. Notes are private to you and help you remember key ideas, favorite quotes, or thoughts about what you’ve read.
Adding a Note
Section titled “Adding a Note”- Open a book’s detail page
- Find the Notes section below the book details
- Tap Add a note
- Type your note
- Tap Save

Your note is saved to that specific book and stays with it regardless of its reading status.
Editing a Note
Section titled “Editing a Note”- Open the book’s detail page
- In the Notes section, tap Edit
- Update your text
- Tap Save
To remove a note entirely, edit it and clear all the text, then save.
Viewing All Your Notes
Section titled “Viewing All Your Notes”To see notes across all your books in one place:
- Open My Books
- Tap the Notes tab or navigate to your Reading Notes page
- Browse your notes, organized by book
You can filter notes by reading status (currently reading, completed, etc.) and search by book title, author, or note content.

- Notes are only visible to you — they’re never shared with library members or shown in activity feeds
- There’s no length limit, but keeping notes concise makes them easier to reference later
- Notes are preserved even if you change a book’s reading status
